The tinnitus patch Antinitus – now at hearing clinics in Australia

Australia-based Affordable Hearing & Tinnitus Relief Ltd has signed an agreement with Antinitus AB for the distribution and sale of the tinnitus patch Antinitus, which is now registered with the Australian Health Authority.

Tinnitus is a complex health problem that affects 10–15 percent of the world population. There is a number of known and unknown causes of tinnitus, but currently there is no effective and simple treatment. Antinitus is a Swedish innovation and the first patch for the treatment of tinnitus in the world.

Affordable Hearing & Tinnitus Relief operate several hearing clinics in Queensland. They have a strong focus on hearing impairment and tinnitus, which is a current and growing therapy area in Australia.

The partnership means that audiologists in Australia will recommend and offer the Swedish tinnitus patch to their patients who suffer from tinnitus.

– We are looking forward to offering our customers the new treatment method Antinitus on the Australian market. Our vision with the collaboration is to increase the quality of life for our patients, says Carmen Grayson-Riley, Director/Business Development Manager and founder of Affordable Hearing & Tinnitus.

Audiologists in Australia are expected to recommend the tinnitus patch to their patients as a treatment for tinnitus from March 2017.
