Registration completed in Canada for the tinnitus patch Antinitus

The Swedish treatment method for tinnitus, Antinitus®, has been registered and approved as a medical device class 1 in Canada.

Canada’s Health Authority Health Canada has approved the registration of the tinnitus patch Antinitus, which means that the product is now available for sale in Canada. The first customers in Canada have already placed their orders online. Negotiations for distribution are under way and it is expected that customers who want to relieve their tinnitus will be able to buy the tinnitus patch in pharmacies and through hearing clinics during 2017.

According to the American Tinnitus Association, approximately 15% of the population in North America has tinnitus and this would mean that about 4.3 million Canadians have tinnitus.
